Under 10: Can volunteer on a school trip with chaperones
10-14: Can volunteer on a school trip with chaperones; can volunteer with a parent volunteering
14-17: Can volunteer on a school trip with chaperones; can volunteer by themselves
Can I complete my court-ordered community service with Angelwood?
Yes, you can complete your community service hours with Angelwood; however, there are guidelines we must follow when it comes to court-ordered service. Please contact Addison Dycus (contact info below) for more information.
I have no experience working with people with disabilities, can I still volunteer?
Yes, you can still volunteer with Angelwood. We will help you get acclimated to the population we serve through training and hands-on experience.
Will I be able to get my service hours signed off for school, graduation, Bright Futures, etc?
Yes, an Angelwood representative will be able to sign any school paperwork for logging volunteer hours, or we can provide a letter of service stating the number of hours volunteered.
