  • Come to our Adult Day Training program and work on projects with our folks
  • Volunteer at the Angelwood Thrift Store
  • Volunteer for our Parent’s Night Out or Angelwood Community Explorers program
  • Participate in a Seasonal Mailing Drive and create cards to send to our residential clients
  • Participate in fundraising events
    • Volunteer at an event
    • Serve on an event committee
  • Host a drive at your place of work, school, church, or other business
    • Drives can be for cleaning supplies, food, paper products, office supplies, gift cards, or art supplies. For more details on our current needs, please contact Addison Dycus (contact info below)
  • Become a “buddy” during our Summer Camp
  • Assist with office tasks (as needed basis)
  • Come to our Adult Day Training program and work on projects with our folks
  • Volunteer at the Angelwood Thrift Store
  • Participate in a workday doing group home maintenance and yard upkeep
  • Participate in a workday doing maintenance and yard upkeep at our Adult Day Training Program
  • Rent an ice cream truck and host an ice cream fun day
  • Host an indoor ice cream social at our Adult Day Training Program
  • Join our Angelwood Community Explorers on a fun outing to explore North Florida
  • Volunteer for our Parent’s Night Out program
  • Participate in fundraising events
    • Volunteer at an event
    • Serve on an event committee

  • Bring your club to our Adult Day Training Program and perform for our folks – great for any music or drama clubs and organizations!
  • Teach our clients basic art skills like painting, easy crafting, and more
  • Teach our staff art skills that will then be taught to our folks at our Adult Day Training Program
  • Participate in a workday doing group home maintenance and yard upkeep
  • Participate in a workday doing maintenance and yard upkeep at our Adult Day Training Program
  • Come to our Adult Day Training program and work on projects with our folks
  • Volunteer for our Parent’s Night Out program
  • Volunteer at a Fundraising Event

  • Can I volunteer with my child? Children are welcome to volunteer at Angelwood! Please see details below:
    • Under 10: Can volunteer on a school trip with chaperones
    • 10-14: Can volunteer on a school trip with chaperones; can volunteer with a parent volunteering
    • 14-17: Can volunteer on a school trip with chaperones; can volunteer by themselves
  • Can I complete my court-ordered community service with Angelwood?
    • Yes, you can complete your community service hours with Angelwood; however, there are guidelines we must follow when it comes to court-ordered service. Please contact Addison Dycus (contact info below) for more information.
  • I have no experience working with people with disabilities, can I still volunteer?
    • Yes, you can still volunteer with Angelwood. We will help you get acclimated to the population we serve through training and hands-on experience.
  • Will I be able to get my service hours signed off for school, graduation, Bright Futures, etc?
    • Yes, an Angelwood representative will be able to sign any school paperwork for logging volunteer hours, or we can provide a letter of service stating the number of hours volunteered.
